Well, I have finally got around to a promise I made to myself in the spring/summer: to read your Riley Parra series.
I started ‘Better Angels’ last night. BIG mistake!!!! (the mistake was starting it last NIGHT … could not stop!!!!-so much for catching up on sleep!)… I LOVE IT!! I have bookmarked or downloaded the other novellas or chapters and will be smarter about WHEN I start to read them.
The plot was compellingand the match up with Gillian and Riley reminds me of another favourite couple of mine (S and J!!! ). Great action and hunour. I love the quick wit and references to MY generation of music! The level of evil is balanced by the integrity and honesty of Riley even though she carries her share of scars (emotional and physical). I am glad you did not name the “angel” Michael … that would have been a dead give away … fallen etc.
I’m glad “[your] Mom thinks you are talented”…. I could not agree more. Thanks for this !
